Adding a Representative
This section is concerned with a short whirlwind tour of user administration in the GTS.NET system. We will add a new user who will be configured as a field representative in the GTS.NET system:
-
Click on the "User Administration" link.

-
On the new page navigated to, click on the "Add a User" link.

- A page containing fields for the user information appears. The first name, last name, username and password fields are all required. Go ahead and enter any arbitrary information.
-
From the dropdown list labeled roles, select "Representative".

- Click on the "Submit Addition" button. This takes you back to the previous page and your new representative should now be visible.
-
You will want to assign your representative to some local and bargaining unit.
Click on the "Edit" link beside the name of your new user in the grid.

-
This will take you back to the member information page with the difference that
the member information is now populated with the information you submitted when
you created the user. Also, the "Assign Facilities" button should now be
active. Go ahead and click on this button.

- A new control shows up with lists of currently configured locals and bargaining units on your system. From the Locals list, select "Mountain View" and click on the "select ==>" button.
-
From the Bargaining Unit list, select "Praxis Inc." and click the "select
==>" button.

-
Click on the submit button. You will be taken back to previous page. Click on
the "Submit Edit" button. Your new user is configured as a field representative
