Retrieve Case

  1. Click on the "Retrieve Case" tab at the top of the page.


  2. You should get a new page organizing look up in three categories: "By Issue or Key Word Look Up", "By Case Look Up" and "By Local and Bargaining Unit". Click on the "By Issue Look Up", once the new page comes up, click on the primary issue dropdown list and select "Working Conditions".


  3. Press the "Search by Issue" button. You will be presented with a grid list populated with cases that have "Working Conditions" as a primary issue.


  4. Click on the retrieve link on any of the cases to view information about the cases.
  5. Click on your browser back button or simply click again on the "Retrieve Case" tab to go back to the opening retrieve case page.
  6. Now we will investigate "By Member Look Up". In the member textboxes, type in "Jack" as first name.
  7. Click on the "Member Look Up" button. A grid populated with all cases listing first name Jack as the grievant appears. You can click on the retrieve link to investigate details about any of the cases.


  8. Now go back to the retrieve case home page. We will investigate finding cases by bargaining units. At the "By Local and Bargaining Unit" section, select MORSETOWN as the local from the dropdown list.
  9. Also select MORSE INDUSTRIES as the bargaining unit.
  10. The case dropdown list will now be populated with all cases filed for members of this bargaining unit. Select any arbitrary case and click on the "Retrieve Case" button to get details about this case.
